Providing evidence-based, non-invasive auditory intervention programs that train for brain-body integration
About Us
Our mission is to enhance the overall quality of life by helping to alleviate symptoms of certain conditions and challenges in a way that is both fun and engaging.
Neuro Fit provides access to the 2 main programs within Unyte’s family of tools: the Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) and The Integrated Listening System (ILS). The SSP and ILS are two of Unyte’s leading multisensory programs that help to guide every person to train their nervous system to be more aware, regulated and resilient.
These programs are evidence-based therapeutic tools that work to improve brain function. Based on the Polyvagal Theory and the concept of neuroplasticity, Unyte programs focus on retuning the nervous system to a more regulated state.

Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP)
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is an evidenced-based therapeutic music/listening intervention designed to re-tune the nervous system. Through listening to specially filtered music, the brain and body are supported to experience a sense of safety, increasing the capacity for calm, clarity and connection to ourselves, others and the world.
With a regulated nervous system, the brain’s ability to successfully process and retain information leads to better social and academic outcomes. In addition, there is an increased ability to control impulses, self-regulate behavior and engage appropriately with others.
Integrated Listening System (ILS)
Integrated Listening System (ILS) is a therapeutic tool using specially-treated music, bone conduction, and movement activities to improve brain function through multisensory input.
The combined elements of ILS - music and movement - begin with building the foundational supports for body organization. As the body becomes organized, so does the brain. With increased organization the brain is able to process information from our environment, sustain attention and learn.
Integrated Listening System develops a foundation that may never have been fully developed or was interrupted due to an event. With appropriate stimulation, the brain’s ability to successfully process and retain information leads to:
Improvement in concentration and memory
Better academic outcomes including improvement in reading comprehension
An increased ability to control impulses and self-regulate behavior
Appropriate social engagement with others
Less stress and anxiety
A happier disposition

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible for services?
Neuro Fit provides services to anyone looking to achieve positive gains in nervous system regulation and improvements in the way they respond to stress. Neuro Fit strives to help individuals of all ages who seek to achieve the following:
What do services look like? Will I be working directly with a provider?
Our role is to manage access, record assessments, and to track & monitor progress. We will guide you on which pathways or programs to listen to, what activities to do during the listening sessions, and support you and your child throughout his or her experience.
Sessions are completed in the comfort of your own home or other similar personal/private space. While sessions do not involve working 1:1 directly with a provider, we are committed to providing you with the tools and support you need to feel comfortable with the program.
Your commitment to the program is required for successful program completion. Following your recommended schedule with fidelity and regularly communicating with your provider is crucial for positive gains and a successful outcome.
Why aren’t services covered by insurance?
Unyte’s programs are educational tools - not medical devices. As educational tools, no medical claim can be made, nor can insurance be billed for Unyte as a medical procedure or service. Therefore, we consider services provided by Neuro Fit to be a private pay program.
What equipment/headphones do I need to do SSP and ILS?
For the SSP, access to a device for the SSP app. Suitable devices include:
You will also need a suitable set of headphones. The specifications on headphones are:
For ILS, a hardware and integration kit is required. This includes the specialized bone conduction headphones.
How long does each SSP session last? How long is the entire program?
There is no “one-size-fits-all” answer. For instance, the Core consists of 5 hours of listening. While the initial recommendation was 1-hour listening sessions for 5 consecutive days, it is no longer considered best practice. The recommendation is no more than 30 minutes of listening in 1 day.
Some people can complete SSP Core safely and gently within 2-3 weeks. Most people can complete SSP safely and gently within 2-3 months. Neuro Fit recommends that children listen to a maximum of 15 minutes per day.
When will I begin to notice results?
Some clients feel significant results during the first session. Some clients will not feel a difference until they've completed their recommended program. The program's gains are accumulative and therefore clients continue to have results weeks and months after completing their program.
Are gains temporary or permanent?
The goal of Unyte is to create lasting change with its family of tools. Most clients who complete a program with consistency and fidelity do not need to repeat it to maintain their gains. Some choose to complete a "refresher" program to achieve additional gains. The more severe the difficulty, the more likely one can benefit from a refresher program.
